We have managed the Park since August 2001,
but the Park
has been operating since 1960,
happily the original
customers are still coming back with their children and
grandchildren.
Thanks
for the praises and good wishes - we've enjoyed your company,
hopefully those that discovered us for the first time this year
will come back again and join the ever growing list of
returning visitors.

The fact that we come back year

Brilliant small site with all the
facilities you need, especially if like us you are wanting to
get away from it all. Only small number of pitches which
we liked, and usual recycling facilities that have come to
expect from sites these days. Shower block and area for
washing dishes was spotless and loads of hot water. Staff
friendly and liked the red arrow flyover they organised!!!
Pitch was one foot from beach which was clean and on the whole
didn't have much midges. Road does split the site and was
slightly worried about noise from traffic but the fresh air must
have knocked us out as we never heard anything.

We had a brilliant time, wasn't sure
if the site was too quite for 2 weeks holiday, but it was
perfect, we just chilled out. Perfect location for days
out around Kintyre and other areas, plenty of nearby ferries for
explore too. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful location, we now have a
problem, we will have trouble finding somewhere to beat this -
just stunning. Amenities are fantastic. Thanks for a
lovely time, the dogs just loved it.

We had 2 weeks here
in June. This is a fantastic, small site. The location is
stunning, right on the beach, and I mean right on the beach
about a meter away from it. Stunning views over Gigha, Islay and
Jura, you can't beat having a glass of single Jura malt watching
the sunset over the Paps of Jura, idyllic. The facilities were
spotless with free hot showers. The owners, Adrian and Allison,
very friendly and helpful. Not really any facilities for
children, apart from the great beach mere footsteps away.
Kintyre is beautiful, great views, great wildlife (we saw Golden
Eagles). This was the best caravan holiday I have had!

The site has one of the largest play
areas for both children and adults - the beach! We spent many
hours spotting the different wildlife, seals, oyster catchers,
northern dippers, eider ducks, every type of seagull, cormorants
etc it was wonderful. Not to mention the many rabbits which
inhabit the area. You could see across to the islands of Gigha
and Islay and the ferry for each is nearby. Within the village
is a local shop which stocks everything you can imagine. The
owner and his wife were very helpful. The shop is open from
6.00am - 5.30pm.
There is a local bus to Campbeltown and Tarbert with the bus
stop just outside the campsite.
All in all this site was everything
we wanted and we would recommend it to our friends. May

Hi folks, just
wanted to let you know that me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed
our weekend stay at the park. We were very lucky with the
weather (considering the deluge of rain you had prior to our
visit!!) and we enjoyed just "chilling out" in the
warm sunshine, sitting outside our caravan taking in the
beautiful scenery looking out to Islay, Jura and Gigha. I can't
recall being on a site with the stunning views that Muasdale has
to offer. We were lucky to see three sunsets as well. After we
booked our touring pitch, we were counting down the days to our
visit and I must say that everything about your park was
"spot on" and just what we expected it would be. The
toilet block was 1st class and I enjoyed a hot shower in a
spacious cubicle. We enjoyed our walks along the white sandy
beach and the best part about it was that it was only a few feet
from our caravan!! With the weather being so nice during our
stay, we didn't get the chance to play pool and table tennis in
the games room (there just wasn't enough hours in the day!!)
Finally, thanks to you both for your hospitality and friendly
chats during our stay. We will be back next summer for a longer
stay and hopefully we will see more stunning sunsets.

Just a short note to say thank you
both very much for making our stay with you, and our first
camping foray, so enjoyable - and relatively easy. The site was
great and the facilities provided were excellent. The location
was even better than we expected and the weather, although still
a bit chilly and a little windy, made for a great experience and
one we would like to repeat in the future.
We have recommended the site to friends already and would love
to return sometime in the not too distant future. Wishing you a
busy season, thank you once again.
