Muasdale Touring Park is a unique location, with stunning sea views
in Argyll.
Situated just a few miles south of Tayinloan Ferry Terminal.
Tents
Pitches are approx 28ft (8.5m) wide, there has to be approx 20ft (6m) space between tents. Tents over approx 12ft (3.5m) wide will need 2 pitches
to accommodate fire, and privacy regulations. Large dome tents
may struggle in gusty winds as they tend to have very flimsy
poles, stronger poles are advised. Gazebos will not stand up to the
winds we experience.
Please
use a breathable ground sheet in your awning to allow others to
follow . Terms
& Conditions.

Set in a unique location with stunning
scenery on the west coast of Scotland.. The park offers
holidays, with no
amusements, no club house, no shop, (village shop 100 yards) no
restaurant, no heated swimming pool, no play equipment, no SKY
connections and no IT facilities - a "get
away from it all location". We concentrate on scenery
and wildlife.
If you have teenagers, be sure they will appreciate the
quietness of this park before booking, we cannot give
refunds because they are not happy or bored. |
A small touring park, on an almost level grass field situated alongside
the beach, offering unobstructed
views of the Atlantic and the isles of Gigha,
Islay
and Jura with glorious sunsets
weather permitting.
All pitches have electric hook-up if required.
There are 10 touring pitches which will accommodate either a
tourer, motorhome or tent, first come first served basis.
Tourer users: Please use a light breathable ground sheet in
your awning, so that a tent may follow and the grass survive -
especially important during the busy season.
At the moment TV reception is analogue only, digital expected sometime
during 2011 if the local mast is upgraded.
Pitches
may be reserved with a deposit of £20 per week or partof, please telephone 01583
421207 with your card details. The deposit will secure your pitch
with balance payment due on arrival for any month except July &
August.
For July and August the deposit will reserve your pitch but balance
payment is due 6 weeks before arrival.
NB: We are not allowed to keep card details, you will need to
ring nearer the time to make the final payment, failure to do so
will result in cancellation in your booking.
Last
minute bookings in July and August will require full payment on
booking.
Motorhomes, Tourers and Tents -
please do not arrive before 2.30pm on a Saturday, we know you are
keen to start your holiday, but we need to have an uninterrupted
time to turn around the static caravans and apartments plus
cut the grass on the touring park before the next lot of visitors
arrive.
If you arrive before 2.30pm we will not
be able to attend to you.

Well behaved dogs
are most welcome. There is plenty to see
and do on Kintyre with lots of walks, loch and sea
fishing, golf courses and distilleries to visit. The new
Kintyre
Way can be walked in sections or over several days.
There is a village walk with
stunning views. Ferry terminals to Arran, Gigha,
Jura and Islay are nearby making Muasdale an ideal location for
island hopping.
Having gained an award for our efforts in recycling, we ask our
visitors to help us maintain this high standard by recycling your
waste whilst staying with us. Recycling
bins are provided at various locations on the park. To
make life easier Recycling Bins have been made available on the
Touring Park.
