Muasdale Touring Park beside the beach, with stunning sea views
on the west coast of Scotland.
Situated mid way between Campbeltown and Tarbert - Argyll.
-
Small Touring Park:
An almost level grass field with direct access
to the beach, offering
unobstructed
views of the Atlantic and the isles of
Gigha
Islay
and Jura with glorious sunsets
weather permitting.
-
Pitches:
All pitches have electric hook-up. 10 x seaside pitches
for use by Tourer, Motorhome or Tent.
Pitches
may be reserved with a deposit of £20 (per week/per pitch) during
low to high season. Holidays for high season (July and August)
will require the balance being paid 6 weeks before arrival.
Last
minute bookings in July and August - full payment is required.
-
Tourers:
As our pitches will be used by motorhomes and tents, it
is important that you use a breathable ground sheet in your
awning to help the grass recover quickly.
-
Tents: Pitches are approx 28ft (8.5m) wide, fire
regulations advise there has to be approx 20ft (6m) space between tents. Tents over approx 12ft (3.5m) wide will need 2 pitches
to accommodate these regulations.
Tents
should have strong poles as they may not stand up to the
gusty winds we get occasionally.
-
Dogs:
Well behaved dogs
are most welcome, please keep on a lead if they will not stay
by your unit.
From Spring to mid July please ensure you walk them along
the tide line, to allow wading birds to nest undisturbed. During this time it would be appreciated if you keep them to
heel whilst on the beach, without a lead will be fine as long
as they don't go chasing after wildlife.
-
BBQ's
and Campfires - BBQ's
are allowed on the touring park, please make sure they are off
the ground
(especially the disposable ones). Campfires
may be lit on the beach - please check wind direction before
lighting to ensure the smoke is blown away from the touring
park.
